Was planning to do this for some time but realised today that the elections have already started and so there is no better time than this to tell you why Modi.
Firstly lets talk about why there is so much hype about Modi.People say that he has hired a bunch of bloggers who are paid to sing praises about him and that is why he has become so popular on the internet .
I fail to understand why other parties who have this allegation against him have never tried this trick to gain popularity. In India every one latches on to a successful idea to brighten thier fortunes. Then why did the other parties not try this.
Answer to this is that everyone has tried but only AAP has gained some success out of it.
So one thing is for sure that even if the ruling party today hires double the people to sing their praises they are not gonna form the next government.
/*The rest of this is for AAP supporters .It would become irreleveant on May 16 .But for now it would be important. */
My next argument would be statistical in nature.Let me start by giving you an example.Suppose that a big client wants to do business with you.Lets assume they give you a 10 Milllion $ pilot project to execute. You screw up .Will you then expect to get a Billion $ business from this company? no right.
So Delhi (population 10 million) was a pilot which AAP screwed big time.If I were them i would have tried to correct my mistake first than aim for anything else.So why are they so eager to get the billion dollar business.Do they really think they can get it?
Again from a statistical stand point .Lets assume AAP is the best option that India has today based on the analysis of we the middle class. Now lets take the population of Delhi .This is 1/100 th of India's population.
In Delhi close to 50% constitue the urban educated middle class which lets assume votes without taking caste creed religion into consideration. In that delhi AAP was not the single largest party.
Now lets go to this big country called India .543 Lok Sabha seats .Lets say we have atleast 100 Delhi like constituencies which have a majority urban population which may get AAP to power.Still what we will have is a Khichdi with AAP , DMK , SP ,BSP , TMC forming an unstable government. So when you are not voting for the single largest opposition party you are actually giving your country an unstable government.Do you want to do that?
The simple rule this election is to vote for a party which will get 200+ seats, only then we can expect a stable government.
Someone told me that how about having AAP as a strong opposition.Answer to that is when you can win the trophy why do you want to be the runner up?
When Dhoni & Nehra are chasing 20 of 7 balls with the last wicket in hand .Dhoni always will take a single so that he gets the next over to finish the game. When you vote for AAP its like asking Dhoni to hit a six of this ball & hope Nehra wont get out in the next over.
As far as religious harmony goes , I believe Uniform Civil Code Bill will bring an end to riots in this country.
If any govenment had a will to kill this religious animosity it would have been long gone by now.BJP has spoken in favor of this bill but never got a clear majority to pass this. This is a big point in debate which can be taken up some other day.
For Modi ,I would say there hasnt been a strong leader India had in many years .And we need a fearless person like him to lead us.It is shameful that our current leaders cant speak in favour of even our Army .You dont expect them to stand up for the common man.You need a personality to represent the nation and of the current crop there arent many.
I have met many Gujratis in my life and always seen a vigor in them to succeed .Somehow they have a business acumen which is more evident than that in others. We must give this guy one chance to prove his credentials.Who knows he may create an India which the cautious parties would never be able to achieve.
Jai Hind !!!
